Snail bar is a hidden Gem in the Temescal neighborhood! I'd recommend reserving an outdoor seat when the weather is nice... the natural wine selections never cease to amaze me, and the service is always very helpful and patient with me while selecting my glass/bottle of choice. Not to mention, their rotating weekend menus are SCRUMPTIOUS! Thought curated dishes tantalize your tastebuds, and don't forget to try the snails

My #1 Bay Area restaurant - simple as that... Andres (Chef Owner) is a rare talent who understands flavors and presentation - the casual vibe and stellar food is perfect for the area. I cannot say enough good things - get everything on the menu, spend your $, support local biz. Don't touch my ham and cheese... XOXO

Service 2/5 - servers had trouble checking in on outside guest Ambiance 5/5 - best on a nice day! Food and Drink 3/5 - fresh and yummy but overpriced:( Ambiance is definitely carrying the rating and I really wanted to love this spot but chaotic servers and expensive food for small portions wasn't a great impression. Went on a nice day and sitting on the sidewalk was a nice summer vibe. I went not expecting to have a full on meal and more for the experience which is definitely the mindset to go in with. With good company, a few tasty bites, and a little alcohol most cons could be looked passed! I would still go back to bring out of town visitors.

Not sure what we got because my friend ordered everything for us. All the food is delicious but tiny portions and very expensive. I believe that after everything our bill was $90 per person for 3 people, and we only got a small carafe of wine to share for 2 people. we were so hungry still we went to jack-in-the-box after for some cheap burgers and fries. The organic orange wine though was delicious! first time having it and it was a great experience. Overall good food, great organic wine, but so expensive you'll leave here hungry still. PRO TIP: Make reservations. Second time trying to come here, first time my friend tried to take me and the wait was crazy long, second time she made reservations far in advance for a early seating table.
